Mia is such a sweet girl. She has been through a lot in her short life and still comes out with a sweet and loving temperament to everyone she sees. We had a lot of rough roads with Mia including her wanting to give you a full body hug everytime you went near her or showed her attention. But with a little firm but loving correction she learned very fast. Now Mia is a great dog and is everything I could have asked for. Mia is loved and hugged every day, just to remind her that she is now in a caring loving home.

I know these pictures might be a bit disturbing to some but this is what happens many times behind the scenes in some kennels. And I wanted to explain to some why it is so important to go see the kennel, parents and dogs before they purchase. Or at least have references, updated pictures and research your breeder before you purchase from them. Mia was purchased from a kennel in Gladys VA (via a kennel in KY within a few day span - all proper authorized paperwork was completed - feel free to email for proof). Mia was not fed and wormed properly. When Mia came she was quarantined and given proper medical treatment. and in just a few short months look at what a great dog she became. It was rumored that this kennel was in practice of not taking care of their dogs. Many of these claims were substantiated when multiple dogs from this kennel were turned into rescue before going out of business in (2009). Please see pictures of many dogs that were turned into rescue below.

Not to us, O Lord, but to you goes all the glory for your unfailing love and faithfulness.
